Solarstone & Alucard 'Slowmotion'
(Original French Renaissance, Big Fat Rat, Iyla Malyuev & Lowland Remixes)

Slowmotion is the first release on Solarstone's new primarily progressive label 'Molecule', a nu breed of record imprint which is all about cutting edge sound and visual. This track first surfaced in 2008 on Orkidea's 'Metaverse' album, and subsequently on Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' album of 2009. Now we are proud to present this clutch of brilliant remixes to kick start Molecule's E.D.M presence. Check out the label website at moleculerecordings.com and watch the official video for 'Slowmotion' via the Solarstone YouTube Channel here.

Alucard - Elation (Original and DJ Eco Remix)
This is Alucard's first solo release on Solaris, and being label boss Solarstone's favourite producer it's not before time! 'Elation' contains all the finely-honed Alucard production nuances which have made him Canada's hottest edm production export over the last couple of years; sweeping builds, layers of beautiful melody and solid, driving rhythms. Dj Eco's remix is a proper big-room thumper with a massive trance production which stays faithful to the musical elements of the original (as the best remixes should) whilst injecting the track with some additional peak-time atmosphere. It's out to buy on the 1st of March. Click here to listen to this release.

Mark Pledger - Time Stands Still (Original and Andy Duguid Remix)
'Time Stands Still' is a powerful uplifting trance record, featuring the poignant angelic muses of folk star Melinda Gareh. The original mix draws on Mark's impressive production talents with its warm and punchy enveloping of melodic uplifting-ness, and has scored single of the month reviews in both DJ Mag & IDJ. The Original dub is a standalone instrumental, surviving perfectly well in it's own right, whilst Andy Duguid pulls out the prog stops with an at time startling chunky groover of a mix, warping the vocal snatches into a veritable electronic tech-fest. A package of further remixes is planned shortly, but for now we'll leave you to enjoy this minimal yet masterful vocal trance package from Solaris. Click here to listen to/buy this release.

Bot Cyprian - Astral Breeze (Original and Rozza Remixes)
Astral Breeze is Solarstone's personal favourite track from the acclaimed Electronic Architecture tracklist. Bot Cipryan's love of warm analogue tones gives the original mix a distinctly classic Hooj feel to it. No abrasive synths, no over-clocked production, just classy driving melodic trance in the best possible sense of the word. Bot's 'Celestial' mix is a tribute to the production styles of classic Jarre and Tangerine Dream, certianly one for the braver and more experimental progressive Djs. Rozza steps up to the plate and provides the banging peak time remix, harnessing all the beautiful melodies of the original and ratcheting up the octane. Rounding up the package is a deliciously sedate Ambient mix, again from Bot Cipryan himself. Click here to listen to/buy this release.

Gary Orvis 'Try To Find' - Original, Nick Rowland & Metadeko Remixes
Crashing Waves 7th release is Gary Orvis 'Try To Find'. This track is taken from Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' album. The Original mix is pure euphoric uplifting melodic gorgeousness, Rich Solarstone has been hammering this worldwide for close to 12 months, so it is more than due an official release! On the remix tip, Nick Rowland has delivered a phenomenal progressive trance remix - something truly brilliant! It is dark, moody and sulty and has 'Big Room' stamped all over it with it's throbbing bass and punchy stabs. Metadeko drops a very deep a laidback progressive house remix to complete the trio of classy mixes.

Stacker - Tell Me Why (Original & Haris C Remix)
Based upon the riff from Bronski Beat's 80's smash 'Smalltown Boy', this relentlesss trance pounder has been burning a hole in Solarstone's CD wallet for 12 months now. Despite the erroneous title (which alludes to another Bronski hit), the Club Mix is peak time trance in it's purest form, with a to-the-point breakdown and a pay-off to die for. Haris C puts his own slant on the track in his trademark style - all sparkling arpeggios and dancefloor friendly twists & turns. Info hit: if you didn't know, Stacker is an alter ego of Argentina's Heatbeat.

Walsh & McAuley - Beyond Belief EP
The 5th release on Solarstone's Crashing Waves label comes courtesy of Marc Walsh and Ciaran McAuley, an up-and-coming dj / producer team from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Title track 'Beyond Belief' has been a staple of Solarstone's uplifting DJ sets for the past few months with its infectious lead riff and neat studio trickery. 'Baguio' is a gorgeous Balearic flavoured progressive trance tune - all scorching arpeggios and tender percussion, one for the poolside this season. 'Expressions' is a darker trance track - an adreneline pumping trance workout, underpinned by rock solid percussion and phat synth action. Click here to listen to/buy this release.
